What we built
ClipBoard connects streamers and content creators with the clippers and editors who turn long streams into short-form clips. A creator posts a bounty with what they want clipped, links to the source VODs on YouTube or Twitch, the format they need and the prize, and pays it up front. The money sits in escrow until a winner is picked, so clippers know the payout is real before they start editing. If the creator hasn't picked by the time judging closes, the earliest valid submission wins, and a bounty with no valid entries is refunded.
Clippers browse the bounty board, cut from the creator's footage, and submit their clip as a link (TikTok, YouTube, X, Twitch or Kick) or as an uploaded file, whichever the creator asked for. Creators review the submissions, pick one or more winners, and payouts go out through Stripe Connect. Prizes can be split across up to five winners, and a dispute flow, reviewed by an admin, handles the cases where creator and clipper disagree.
